Kinross Camera Club
The final meeting in March KCC members were treated to an evening with award winning landscape photographer Ashely Franklin with his amazing presentation ‘Under Tuscan Skies’. The images of D’Orcia are absolutely stunning. ‘Images of dawn mists , lush rolling hills where wildflowers bloom and Cypress trees stand sentinel’ Ashley also showed us the historic, scenic hill-top towns of the region as well as photos from the Mille Miglia classic car rally which is held each May. At the beginning of April we look forward to our popular evening of Members Pictures. There have been lots of opportunities for catching images of the onset of Spring and we can have a chat about where we have been and what we have been snapping with our cameras. The 14th April will be our final competition of the season ‘The Annual’ when we welcome judge David Sadler ARPS, DPAGB, EFIAP/s, BPE3*, LBIPP an exceptional photographer from Dundee to assess our images and give us feedback to help us improve on our work.
For our final presentation of this season we welcome Commercial and Street Photographer Ross Grieve AMPA to join us for a Zoom meeting to present his incredible Street images. Street photography is a genre which is popular with many of our members and I’m sure we will all be inspired by Ross and his wonderful thought provoking images.
To bring the season to a close and to award all of those hard earned trophies we look forward to our Annual Dinner where members and their partners can get together to enjoy a tasty 3 course dinner and celebrate the end of a fantastic season.
We always welcome new members and we would love to see you at one of our club meetings. If you would like to join Kinross Camera Club or find out more about what we do, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
